This page explains how to request deletion of your Invoque account and the personal data associated with it, what gets deleted, and what we are legally required to retain.
Option 1 — Delete your account in the app (immediate)
- Open the Invoque app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Legal & privacy → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated personal data are deleted (subject to the retention rules below).
From Settings you can also tap Download my data to export a copy of your personal data before deleting.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address and we will delete your account and personal data:
We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete verified deletions promptly (typically within 30 days).
What is deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, profile photo).
- Workspaces you own — including their invoices, clients, products, and public share links.
- Your membership in any workspaces you belong to, and on-device preferences.
What is retained, and for how long
Some records are kept, or de-identified rather than erased, where retention is required by law or for the shared business records other workspace members rely on:
- Financial & tax records (invoices and related billing data): retained for up to 8 years to meet India's Income-Tax Act and audit obligations, as part of the business's statutory books of account. After this period they are deleted or de-identified.
